Fall is here, and winter is emerging. As the season turns, we begin to think about what needs to pause, and what might emerge when we allow ourselves simply to be. To be in the stillness. To be in the quiet.

In the Quiet brings together nine artists in a conversation about rest. Through both subject matter and process, these artists explore the transformations and revelations that appear when we allow ourselves to slow down and listen.

What can we hear in the quiet? In the trees, the land, the skies, the flames that warm us through winter? As the days grow shorter, we are asked to consider what has passed and what remains. What heals us? What nourishes us?

Within this stillness is a solemn tenderness, a space for thought, reflection, and growth.
