Now in its third year, this international print swap is a community building event that invites artists around the world to discover and connect across mediums, backgrounds, languages, and locations. For the 2026 iteration, we are excited to introduce the opportunity to participate in a non-juried, all-accepted, Maine-based exhibition and a small juried publication.

What do we mean by “print”?
We use the term very loosely. Any 2D work can be swapped, no matter if it's an original work of art or a replicable medium. This could be painting, drawing, photography, monoprinting, mixed media, textile etc. The main idea is that it be something the recipient can display on their wall.

How does the print swap work?
Give a print, get a print. After sign ups close, we email every participant, assigning Person A to send to Person B to send to Person C, etc. Each participant packs up their print and ships it to their recipient. How/if you customize your package is up to you, though we recommend including a note. The only cost to participate is the cost of postage. You dictate where you're willing to ship to, whether domestic or international.

Important 2026 Dates
February 1st — sign ups open
February 28th — sign ups close at 11:59pm EST
March 2nd — receive an email with the name + address you are shipping to
March 14th — shipping + tracking number deadline
Early April — exhibition details + publication acceptances are emailed out
