This was fired in an anagama style kiln. After several weeks of wood prep, glazing, wadding each pot, and loading the kiln it is fired over the course of 6 days reaching top temps of 2300 F. This vase is completely unglazed and was fired on its side in the side stoke area leading to the earthy unburnt ash results.
